Just upgraded my Dad's machine from a 3700X with 32 GB DDR4 3200 to the 5700X3D with 64GB DDR4 3600 on an ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 with a XFX Speedster MERC 319 AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT. He's very happy with it running TUXEDO OS (Linux). This will last him easily 'till we get AM6 or however they are going to name the next mainstream socket.

Hello Iceberg, wishing you the best. Always liked your budget oriented videos for PC hardwares especially gaming. However, when I saw this AliExpress focus ones I had a different opinion of it. I got to a mobile GPU seller about my 1060 showing a display driver error message on Windows and he asked me to send it to him after we discussed it. The premise is to either fix for me or a possibility of an upgrade replacement. He received the GPU and blocked or refused to communicate with me again. Then I raised this with both AliExpress and my country consumer protection agency. After reviewing the case AliExpress granted me back the refund amount which is $299. AliExpress offered 2 options for the compensation. 1. I provide them with a new bank account details 2. I can use a coupon for the full amount on their website for anything of my choice. BUT BEFORE I CAN MAKE A CHOICE OF MY OWN, WITHIN FEW HOURS OF SENDING THE FIRST EMAIL, ALIEXPRESS SENT A SECOND EMAIL STATING THAT SINCE I DIDN'T CHOOSE A REFUND OPTION, THEY HAVE PLACED A COMPENSATION COUPON WORTH $299 IN MY COUPON ACCOUNT FOR MY USE. since I really want to resolve the case quickly, I choosed to make a combined order for desktop components compring of b550m,R5 5600, RX 580, cooler, PSU, RAM and a laptop fan for the said amount. But the payment failed completely, that was in December of 2024, I made this concern known to AliExpress and also complained about coupon expiration date but AliExpress said it will be extended. To this day no solution came out for me. I have been told it's a system error that will be fixed and I should also do a troubleshooting of my device. Nothing worked. When I complained recently,one AliExpress agent finally admitted to me that the coupon is not a real one!! I have made all screenshots evidence for all these information I given here. This is where the matter lies at the moment. This gives me a different opinion on AliExpress unfortunately. But I'm wishing you plenty of health, how's your spine? After spending 900$ on a 3080 10g and seeing how it's already having a hard time running games at Med settings . . . I don't want to buy another NVIDIA card! Seeing how nice my new new AMD 7950X3D CPU is carrying the setup now I may just buy the new AMD cards coming out here. . .
